- The overall purpose of the Forum is as follows:
- Arrange an international event engaging with the public to disseminate and share achievements in the humanities
- Facilitate a global venue to discuss major agenda items in the humanities and explore ways towards the prosperity of the humanities in Korea
- Offer new orientations for the value and benefits of the humanities exploring the sustainability of human civilization
- To implement programs to meet the various roles of the humanities and social demands
- To promote exchanges among humanities scholars at home and abroad and expand engagement with citizens
- To create a glocal humanities festival venue that combines global and local features
