Owing to the development of the digital revolution and the use of the internet, Electronic Commerce has been introduced of late. In international trade, Global Trading will be realized as Global Business to Business E-Commerce as Bolero Service based on Bolero Bill of Lading and Trade Card System furnished traders with their services. There are three principles in the letter of credit transaction, that is to say, independence and abstraction, document dealing, strict compliance. In the electronic letter of credit under Global B-to-B E-commerce, these principles are called as independence and abstraction, electronic document dealing, strict compliance except substantial compliance.
Electronic Trading Service is changing the way of doing international business, that is, the electronic presentation of shipping documents and the auto-checking of the compliance under the electronic letter of credit.
Thus, the purpose of this paper is to study the nature and principals of the Electronic Letter of Credit Transaction and to find the problems and solutions of electronic letter of credit and to streamline the Global B-to-B Electronic Commerce.
