The purpose of this paper is to analyze the internationalization process of ventures in Korea and Taiwan. The study analyzes venture firm's pattern of international development through their establishment of cross-border activity in key value chain. In this study, I demonstrate that there are factors that exert substantial influences at the degree of internationalization. The empirical results are based on 111 foreign entry activities of Korean ventures and based on 80 international activities of Taiwanese ventures. The findings indicate strong support for the resource-based perspective in the choice of internationalization.
