The purpose of this research is to explore the theory of the new paradigm of the humanities education in the digital age and to explore the possibility that Korea's humanities and humanities education can shift in the direction for the digital generation by developing practical courses in the higher education institutions. The first-year study dealt with the problem of surveying and analyzing the perception of university students for writing education for digital generations and then applying it to digital writing classes. This is because students who are familiar with digital culture are not being educated about digital writing. The second-year study explored the possibility of incorporating multi-literacy into the curriculum of foreign language-related departments, as multi-literacy education is inevitable in the era of globalization and digital technology change in the 21st century. In the third year, the design of major subjects applying the mutual culture approach in language education was originally planned, but the direction of the study changed somewhat, resulting in more practical research performance results. This is because it was given the opportunity to design and operate new subjects of the department joined during the research process. In the course of the study, it was able to achieve many achievements through collecting relevant literature, surveying students, consulting experts, and collaborating with research assistants. Through expert advice, we shared knowledge and information such as survey analysis, digital literacy, digital capabilities, intercultural learning, multi-literacy, design thinking, and service design methodology. As a result, I could submitted a number of papers in professional journals in Korea and actively participate in the presentation of the academic conference. For example, it collected and studied literature related to digital writing and college student recognition, image literacy and Warburg’s Kulturwissenschaft, liberal arts, critical thinking and team-based learning, design of convergence majors, international trade, German trade correspondence, company German, German trade training, foreign German studies, etc. and utilized it to develop thesis and curriculum subjects. In the course of carrying out this task, I became interested in the development and operation of the liberal arts curriculum and subjects required in the 21st century as well as in the development and operation of the major courses, and was able to develop and operate them. To this end, literature such as applied imagination, agile college teaching method, transliteracy, and secrets of knowledge creation were purchased and used for research. The educational landscape of modern society is changing rapidly and the evolution of digital technology is having a profound impact on society and education. To cope with these changes, university education should provide students with learning opportunities to prepare for the future through curriculum redesign. The impact and potential of digital technology on education should be reflected in the higher education. In an era when information and knowledge are easily shared and created through digital media, humanities education at universities also needs to expand outside. Ethics issues, especially in the digital age, are so important that they should be included in the content of the college's education. This is because they can be exposed to a number of ethical problems that may arise in the cyber world. Discussions on what to teach college students in the digital age should be deepened to actively reflect the ethical reflection on digital technology and the availability of digital technology in the content of higher education programs.
