The goal of this study is to answer questions such as how can a chatbot for design thinking education be developed in this study, how do relevant entities in design thinking education recognize and use chatbots, and what is the effect of using chatbots in design thinking education? The main results are summarized as follows.
The facilitating bot for CSCL provides faculty support that contributes to the achievement of educational objectives, social support that supports mutual cooperation and creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for smooth cooperation, goals, progress plans and rules of cooperation We can provide administrative support to help you participate in the collaboration, technical support to help you become familiar with the system and software, etc. As a result of the usability evaluation, class satisfaction was 4.69, cooperation satisfaction was 4.64, bot usefulness perception was 4.49, bot effectiveness perception was 4.40, and bot attractiveness was 4.40, showing an overall average of 4.00 or higher. was confirmed to have been supported. In particular, learners showed satisfaction with the part to be performed step by step in the cooperation process, the part that was carried out according to the guidance, and the part that stored and provided data on the performed content, which contributed to inducing efficient and effective cooperation. It was the opinion that In this process, learners experienced a high level of immersion, which has the potential to lead to a positive effect of encouraging learners' participation and increasing their learning motivation.
Based on the above research results, the significance of this study is presented as follows. First, through this study, the main role of the facilitating bot in CSCL and the design strategy for its implementation were confirmed. This can be used as basic data for developing a more advanced chatbot in the future. Second, the results of the learners' usability evaluation and experience analysis of the chatbot showed the possibility that the facilitating bot could elicit a positive experience in CSCL, and it can be expected that it can contribute to learning outcomes through functional improvement.
