The purpose of this study was to analyze effects of systematic physical activities for alienation(wang-ta) decrease among the elementary school children. Subjects were 4th and 6th-grade of elementary school(67 participants and 324 non-participants). The physical activity program was composed of stretching exercises and meditations, self-denial through physical strength trainings, ball games, physical recreation, and Korean folk activities. The effects of physical activities for alienation decrease were anayzed by the classmate support spheres(11 items) in Harters' Social Support Scales, and the differences or points of positive responses(PR) and negative responses(NR) between participants and non-participants were compared using paired t-test. According to the results, participants showed very high levels(stretching exercises and meditations = PR .57, NR -.70, self-denial through physical strength trainings = PR 2.88, p<.01, NR -2.31, p<.05, ball games = PR 8.33, p<.001, NR -4.86, p<.001, physical recreation = PR 5.68, p<.001, NR -6.99, p<.001 and Korean folk activities = PR 13.89, p<.001, NR -9.00, p<.001) than non-participants(stretching exercises and meditations = PR .00, NR -.53, self-denial through physical strength trainings = PR 1.67, NR 3.65, p<.01, ball games = PR -1.00, NR 2.49, physical recreation = PR .21, NR 2.05, p<.05 and Korean folk activities = PR -1.42, NR 1.58). In this results, particularly the effects of dynamic team activities, as Korean fork activities, ball games, physical recreations were worth to be perceived.
