Motion picture projector can capture movements for a period of time. But, it is possible to shoot in a various ways, in which the producer wants, in which it includes zooming or utilizing the utility equipments attached to it, or use it to shoot at various angles. It is mostly used as in a way of studying motional ethnic map makings by shooting things like, specific race`s village festivals or traditional industrial arts, but it can used to shoot in a way to educate students and citizens about the nation`s ideology. Motional ethnic map of Germany, was made in subject to studies and educating ideology of the country.
The time when first ethnic films were shoot in Germany, was in the period of Weimar. in which during at that time, conservative politicians and educators used ethnic films to minimize the French and America`s mass media influences by utilizing Germany`s national heritage, especially the ethic side, to educate students. The production of motional ethnic map makings used for national ideology studies, were very much vitalized during the Nazi period..
After the war, the motional ethnic maps were produced purely for science studies at IWF. But, motional ethnic maps produced to shoot a specified art of science progress and procedures at that time, was not allowed to shoot the groups which practises the ethnic arts or personal life and the people`s usual day lives of one`s watching it. When the specified art of science of particular race were filmed to be used for scientifical studies, there could be a danger of analysing it in a points of nationalism. These kind of dangers were pointed outed from studies by Germany`s ethnic professors, and the problems were seen clearly in researching the motional ethnic map makings. Motion researches like that of documentary films, can be divided in a way to express producers ideology or speciality in study fields, reasons for production, backgrounds and quality analysis on production stage and quantity analysis of the film languages used to produce motional ethnic map makings. Also, his studies of ideology were carried out with desires, for which it includes usage of interviews, or changes of filming techniques, which is being requested by the film consumers. But, his works are limited, because that, the new German ethnic studies which are based on modern day German life, are so few in numbers, and the discussions about the usage of digital techniques were carelessly handled.
