The objective of this study is to elucidate spatial movement of emotion for each group preferring well-being and the relationship of life oriented to personal taste.
For objects of the study, I selected 597 male and female adults above 20 years old by random sampling in Seoul and Kyunggi.
As measuring tools for spatial movement of emotion, I used the questionnaires of Guerney(1977), Wittenberg and Reis(1988), Ahn Beom Hee(1984), Kang Sook Young (2003), Kim Chang DaeㆍKim Soo Im (1999), Ji Yong Keun (1996), et al. and the Cronbach's alpha was .85-.95. Personal taste was verified in two aspects, i.e., the aspect where it is respected by others and the aspect where it is evaluated by the person himself. While the category as per consumption (consumption of spirit and material) of Hakuhodo(傳報堂 2003) and the scale of Paulo(1982), Kang Jong Gu (1986), Lee Hun Jin and Won Ho Taek (1995) were adopted, Cronbach's alpha was .80-.92.
Making use of SPSS/PC+11.0 Version for Windows, data treatment was verified by one-way ANOVA, analysis of co-variance, average comparative analysis, standard multiple regression and so on.
The result was obtained through this procedure.
First, in the personal distance, the average is high in the age of 30s', middle school graduates, over Won 4 million, service and so on. In the social distance, the average is high in women, university graduate, over Won 4 million, special occupation and so on.
Second, the average is high in objective sense for the real, self-accommodation and productive conscience for 30s'; self-accommodation and desire for independence for women; objective sense for the real, self-accommodation and pride for university graduates; self-accommodation for below Won 2 million and objective sense for the real, self-accommodation, productive conscience and pride for university students.
Third, the group with high level of well-being preference shows significant difference in self-accommodation, desire for independence, productive conscience and pride.
Fourth, while term of participation shows difference in individual distance and frequency of participation, strength shows difference in social distance. The longer participation and higher strength result in high objective reality, longer term of participation and higher frequency and higher strength results in higher productive conscience.
Fifth, individual participation shows life with higher personal taste.
Sixth, while the group playing basketball shows high spatial movement of emotion, those playing badminton shows life with higher personal taste.
Seventh, while individual distance shows high desire variance for independence, social distance shows high average in objective reality, self-accommodation, desire for independence, productive conscience and pride
