This study is aimed to develop a concept of "women's security" in the changing context of globalization. IIt is consisted of three part.
The first part "Toward a concept of women secueity" is aimed to argue that a concept of human security, particularly, women security is needed in the changing global situation. In order to do that the author tried to raise and answer the following questions from a feminist perspective: First, why is a concept of women security needed More specifically, what are the problems of existing concepts of security Second, How does an alternative concept of women security look like from a feminist perspective Third, what kinds of tasks are needed to realize the proposed concept of women security
In this context the author critically examined the concepts of national security, common security, and human security and tried to formulate the fields, approach, and a reconstructed concept of women security as an alternative. Summing up, an feminist concept of women security is defined as a state of non-existence of neither military, nor economic, nor sexual violence, and the fields of women security comprises peace-building, human development, human rights, deconstruction and reconstruction of existing concepts of security. In a word, it can be described as a gendering of human security.
As a conclusion the author suggested a few tasks in order to realize this feminist vision of women security, which include global governance and activization of women's peace movements.
The second part "Militarism and women secirity:: IIts MMeaning and effoects of UUs military globalization" has discussed the globalization's meaning and effects in the context of women security, taking the development of globalization connected with militarism which is critical to women security in global level.
The third part ""Globalization and global governance for women's politics" is aimed to suggest alternative global governance concentrating women's security. It seeks an potential for exchange of interests and various coalition, furthermore, stresses the importance on regional politics within the space of action on the milti-oevel politics. SSimultaneously it accents norms and alim for solving the global problems. MMost important assumptions for aternative global governanace are the empowerment of the women and the ognition that privete is the potical. OOn this cognition the feminist international politcs find the nexux between the international and the private. IIn order to extablish feminist global governanace, engendering global politics should be necessary, while participating actively in the discussion on the civil rights and criticizing reigning hegamony.
