Study of Korean Eco-community Model through the Critical Application of German Eco-community
This research is divided into three major subjects which are composed of three to four detailed subjects respectively. The first major subject, "Operating Model of Eco-community," has four detailed subjects. Its first detailed subject, "Nonviolent Communication as a means of resolving conflicts," emphasizes the function of communication in maintaining the characteristics of community, studies and analyzes communication models among community members, on the base of which modelling the capability of acquiring communication skills in Korean Eco-community is to be studied. The second detailed subject, "Labor in Korean Eco-community," argues that eco-community as a 21th alternative society be secured of such basic qualities as care, cooperation, preservation, continuity, studying and analyzing in what way labor in Korean eco-communities has been done, on the result of which way of developing and consolidating community through labor is to be studied. The third detailed subject, "Eco-community Economy," lays the most basic and primal emphasis in eco-community economy on continuity, studying the sorts of continuable business, their possibility of continuity in product distribution and the economic and ecological efficiency in the producing process. By way of outsiders' visiting eco-community and experiencing various programs eco-community provides, eco-community makes widely known the value of the ecological life styles and extends and solidifies network with the outside world, also bringing additionally financial help for operating the community. The second detailed subject, "Living Education in Eco-community," tries to find out the true face of Korean eco-community in the continually and traditionally handed down but now nearly forgotten ecological life in this country, Korea.
