The aim of this article is to inquire into the similarity and difference between Presbyterians those who are chief figures of Puritans, and Anglicans, specifically their debates on Scripture, the dogma of the Church and the theory of State. In particular, the foundation of Presbyterian polity which is from Old-New Testaments and Augustine in medieval ages, missionary Pattrick, Peter Waldo, John Wycliff, Johanus Huss.
The institutionalizing works of Presbyterianism are accomplished through the endless disputation between one group, those are William Tyndale, Martin Bucer, John Alasco, John Field, Thomas Wilcox, Thomas Cartwright, Walter Travers, and the other group whose names are John Whitgift, the architect of Anglicanism, and John Hooker, the consummator of Anglicanism.
The main disparity of the two church systems results from various interpretations and understandings of the scripture and humanity. Cartwright took a definite stand on calvinistic reformed theology concerning biblical inerrancy and biblicalism, and insisted on human depravity and incapability. However Whitgift and Hooper recognized Adam's fall, but put trust in the ability of human reason by which the church policy system is established.
