창의적 드라마(Creative Drama)에 관한 선행 연구는, 영미문화권에서의 이론과 실제 사례를 통하여 그 교육적 효용성에 관한 당위론을 소개하는 단계에 있다. 즉, 선행 연구는 창의적 드라마를 교육 일반과 교과교육의 매체 혹은 방법론으로 활용하여 교육현장에서 적용하면 그 교육적 효용성을 높일수 있다는 입론의 단계를 벗어나지 못하고 있다.
이에 본고는 창의적 드라마의 이론을 체계화 하고 교과교육의 매체로서 실제 교육 현장에 적용하여 그 교육적 효용성을 실증하고자 한다.
이를 위해서 본고는 다음과 같은 범위 속에서 이루어질 것이다.
첫째, 본고는 무엇보다도 먼저 창의적 드라마가 교과교육 매체 혹은 방법으로서 적합한 지를 중심으로 그 기본 원리를 체계화하고자 한다.
둘째, 본고는 그 교육적 효용성을 검증하기 위한 구체적인 사례로서, 그 효과지수가 보다 명료하게 드러나는 말하기, 특히 토론 교육의 매체로 창의적 드라마를 적용하고자 한다.
말하자면 본고는 창의적 드라마의 기본 원리에 관한 이론을 체계화 하고 토론 교육을 사례로 하여 그 교육적 효용성을 실증하고 토론모델을 만들고자 한다.

It's necessary for me to systemize all the principles in the creative drama. In this article, a case of the educational discussion will verify its effectiveness and I'll make its example.
The results run as follows.
1) The creative drama is a strategy of the teaching-learning as a lower form of the educational drama. It is achieved in the interaction between teachers and students.
The characteristics of the creative drama is the improvisation, the feature of an off-stage and the course-oriented. It develops participants in steps of the imagination, the performance and the reflection. In order to achieve teachers' and students' participation, and its educational purpose, the creative drama uses many techniques in course of activities.
2) The procedure is as follows. The leader who is instructing the drama theory for the education at the university, is a class and subject teacher. Participants are second year students. They are 93 persons and divided into 12 groups. The work is carried into practice for 4 weeks.
The leader invited 6 groups to discuss a dramatic method and the other 6 groups to discuss a usual method. He had them use their own creative drama in course of discussion activities.
I had the groups carry courses of discussing-making a summary-writing, then hand in their papers.
3) What I have arranged and generalized its results, an example of the educational discussion runs as follows.
