The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the changes that appear in the commercial location as online commerce is revitalized by the development of information and communication technology, consumers' purchasing paths are diversified and consumption behaviors change. For the purpose, the recent e-commerce scale is increasing most rapidly, and changes appearing in the location of close-to-life stores related to food, which are essential for life, are analyzed. In particular, the changes that appear in the spatial distribution of food and beverage stores that we visit most frequently in our daily lives were examined, and the factors influencing them were analyzed intensively. In Korea, food and beverage stores have a high proportion of self-employed and have a short survival period. Frequent opening and closing of business causes unrest in employment and income of self-employed small business owners and incurs enormous social costs, which is currently emerging as a serious social issue. In this study, from 2010, when the influence of informatization on consumers' consumption behavior began to become full-fledged along with the spread of smartphones, new opened or closed food and beverage stores and surviving restaurants are subject to spatial findings in their location and distribution. The spatial characteristics and geographic factors that act on them were carefully analyzed. In addition, in order to understand the effect of SNS on the survival of restaurants, the geographical characteristics that appear in the distribution of popular restaurants were analyzed because of the large number of restaurant searches on SNS among open restaurants. As research methods, comparative studies of metropolitan/local cities, quantitative studies, and qualitative studies were applied. Consumption of goods and services may differ depending on the characteristics of the individuals who consume it, as well as the population composition and social, economic, and technological situation in the area in which they live, so this study targets Seoul in the metropolitan area and Gwangju, a provincial city. Performed. The data used for the analysis include food and beverage store license data from the Ministry of Public Administration and Security, various secondary data such as population census of the National Statistical Office, economically active population survey, national business survey, transportation network and transportation card data, land price data by lot, and e-commerce data. And restaurant information search data through SNS. In order to collect data for qualitative research on consumers' food purchasing behavior, an online survey was conducted through a structured questionnaire, and on the other hand, SNS restaurant information of portal and internet information mediating service companies was collected. In order to analyze the spatial characteristics of the opening and closing business and survival of food and beverage outlets and the location factors acting on the collected data, a quantitative study is carried out to conduct multivariate statistical analysis and spatial statistical analysis through DB construction and pre-processing through a geographic information system. I did. A qualitative study was conducted to identify the behavioral factors influencing consumers' consumption behavior and restaurant selection based on internet survey and social media search information. A study on Seoul empirically analyzes the changes in the distribution of restaurant locations in Seoul and factors influencing the location over the past 10 years. In particular, it examines the relationship between online search activities such as restaurant search on SNS and the location of restaurants. To this end, by measuring the kernel density and moran index of open, closed, and open restaurant locations, we examine the clustering of restaurant distribution and the trend of changes in the clustering pattern, and estimate the optimal spatial regression model to affect the restaurant location. I have identified the properties. The research results were published in the Korean Economic Geographical Society Journal (KCI registered magazine) Vol. 23 No. 1 under the thesis title “Changes in Online Information Search and Restaurant Location: Seoul as a Case”. A study in Gwangju Metropolitan City focused on the correlation between traffic accessibility and survival of restaurants, which are important factors for improving sales and continuous operation of restaurants. As a result of analyzing the relationship between traffic accessibility and business periods by restaurant industry through survival analysis, it was confirmed that subway access, which operates only one route, did not show a significant relationship, but road accessibility showed a significant correlation with extending the survival period. The research results were published in Vol. 23, No. 4 of the Korean Economic Geographical Association (KCI) under the thesis title “Analyzing the correlation between restaurant opening and closing businesses in Gwangju and traffic access”.
